A Bentley S3 Continental as a sporty variant rounded up the offer and a few were bodied by H.J. Mulliner, Park Ward to a rather slab-sided design by Vilhelm Koren, a freelance designer. The outcome of his work provoked rather controversial comments but might have smoothed the path for acceptance of the definitely slab-sided future Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.
